The name utopian because in Cappadocia- Turkey this kind of Birds doesn’t exist, hornero birds are endemic from Argentina, however, the similarity between the Cappadocia caves and the Horneros nest is meaningful and ironic. The soaring rock formation dotted with homes harmoniously carved into the natural landform and just like the horneros nest the caves were built to be a safe place to survive depredators, and after the original owners leave others creatures completely different to the one that built them use the caves and the nests as a place to s

“Rufous Hornero” are endemic birds from southern Argentina. The nests of the Rufous Hornero are never reused by the pair that built them and once the nests are abandoned Poidomani turn them into art. This series was part of the Poidomani's retrospective solo exhibition at the MAC (CONTEMPORARY ART MUSEUM) SALTA - ARGENTINA and addresses the problem of the emigration of professionals out of South America.
