Born in Quito, Ecuador, Fabricia has dual French and American citizenship. After graduating from the Ringling College of Art and Design in Florida, she returned to France in 1987, where she began to paint, exhibiting her work all over the country. Her pieces tend to be colorful, some of them recalling Guadeloupe, where she spent a year of her life. Beginning in 2007, Fabricia Lepoutre adopted a new influence in her paintings. Her work depicts interiors of homes that are filled with memories for Fabricia. Her color palette is now oriented more toward grays and browns. Fabricia has always sought to paint what was in her mind: painting is not just a passion, but also an outlet for her.
