25-year-old Alix has been devoting her free time to drawing and painting since she was a little girl. She has studied at a number of art schools in Paris and Reims, where she specialized in wall decorations, especially fresco painting and mosaics. Her aim is to extend the use of mosaics beyond bathrooms and kitchens, allowing them to become a part of real living spaces and to reclaim their original role as decoration. The multi-talented Alix works in a number of disciplines, including photography, street art, watercolors, linocut, painting, and more. Inspired by her experiences and travels, Alix also takes advantage of exhibitions in Paris, where she seeks out the latest trends, striving to forge her critical thought and boost her creativity. The artist created “L’Atelier d’Alix” in 2012, which serves as her “cave of material”, where she can express whatever she is feeling.
