Sophie Flamme, born in Brussels, April 7, 1973.
Trained as an interior architect, works for a Brussels architecture firm. A self-taught painter, the main thrust of her work is the expression of feelings. Her technique is essentially acrylics to which are added plaster, mortar, cotton, etc. Materials which leave their mark on the story told on the canvas.
Her work has been shown in various galleries, public and private spaces: Evanescence Gallery (Uccle) , Galerie 15 (Ixelles) , Art Denses Galerie (Liège), Sablon Fair (Brussels), Espace Jacqmotte (Brussels).
