“The work that I am presenting to you is formed of old tractors photographed over the four seasons and which, through those seasons, also depict the course of a life.” Normand Métivier, a photographer from Quebec, discovered his passion after taking his first shot one day in November 1973. After emerging from his dark room, Normand decided to make it a hobby, but not a career. The style of his photos is highly eclectic. His subject matter includes landscapes in warm colors, portraits, cemeteries in icy colors, and churches. His images truly come to life in his latest photo album, Tractors of the Past.
